Klas Isaksson

The title is a quote from a trip report in which a person had taken five tabs of LSD. The trip culminated in an insight that sounds very simple, yet may point to a fundamental principle: Fear will control your life, love will set you free.

In this series of works, form itself is not at the center; Rather, the focus is on the subtle dynamics that shape the experience of being in the world. The project operates in the borderland between neurophysiology, emotional perception, and creative expression, and can be understood as an investigation into how our psychological filters regulate not only what we see and experience, but also what we create.

Klas Isaksson is a established multidisciplinary Swedish artist based in Norrköping, working across visual art, music, film, and literature. His creative practice explores the intersection of emotional experience, altered states, and narrative form.
Isaksson’s solo work moves fluidly between electronic soundscapes, experimental film, and graphic storytelling. As a musician this blend of disciplines and experience reflects on his music productions, giving to his sound a clear identity. Obscure, hypnotic, driving Scandinavian techno infused with a deep emotional resonance into it.
